In this page you can configure the options to suit your needs:
Enable Learn calibration:
Enables the menu item that allows to load the frame for the learn calibration.
This option is meaningful only for systems that require a learn calibration and that contain a descriptor of this type in the device.
The management of a calibration of learn within the dedicated frame is entirely similar to the management of a main calibration, with the exception that the calibration of learn can not be managed online.
Enable Setup calibration:
Enables the menu item that allows to load the frame for the setup calibration.
This option is meaningful only for systems that require a setup calibration and contain a descriptor of this type in the device.
The management of a calibration setup within the dedicated frame is entirely similar to the management of a main calibration, with the exception that the calibration setup may provide an instruction to reset the control unit at the end of the editing work.
Show all break points:
If a curve or a map have breakpoints that are not equispaced, you can ‘delete’ breakpoints. The deletion is in fact a reassignment of the value of the breakpoint to be deleted. After the ‘deletion’, the value of the deleted breakpoint becomes equal to the value of the first breakpoint. In the presence of equal breakpoints in the first positions, the default behaviour of ECT is to disable the display of all the equal breakpoints except 1. Enabling this option you will always get to see all breakpoints even if there are breakpoints with equal values in the first positions.
The edit point automatically follows the edit point
If a curve or map is loaded from ECU it is possible to enable the animation of the breakpoints, i.e. it is possible to see which point of the curve or map is active according to the values of the breakpoints . The edit point, on the other hand, is independent and is the cell selected by the user.
By activating this option, the edit point is automatically moved to the animation point.
The user must confirm the off-line changes by pressing F8
If a curve or map is loaded, changes to the values of the curve or map are not immediately confirmed but the user must use the F8 command to confirm them.
By activating this option the changes are immediately confirmed.
The user must confirm the on-line changes by pressing F8
If a curve or map is loaded, changes to the curve or map values are not immediately confirmed and transmitted to the control unit but it is necessary for the user to use the F8 command to confirm and transmit the changes to the control unit.
By activating this option, the changes are immediately confirmed and transmitted to the control unit.
Also compare different types of calibrations
If this parameter is enabled, you can compare a main calibration with a setup calibration.
Show information about the selected variable in area below the list of variables
If this parameter is enabled, the application displays the notes about the variable and the groups the variable belongs to.
Enable the change of name and date when saving
The option, if enabled, allows to update the name and date field when saving. If this option is disabled, the save command does not involve any modification of the name and date field.
User is prompted to confirm the change of name and the date when saving
This option, when enabled, results in a request of confirmation of the change of the name and date field. If disabled and if the change of name and date field is enabled, the field will be changed without prompting the user.
Show curve values vertically
By default the values of a curve are listed horizontally in a row. This option allows to show the values in a column.
Map axes are swapped
By default, in a map, the column headers show the first axis values and the row headers show the second axis values. This option allows you to invert the 2 axes.
