PROFILE STRUCTURE

64 views 0

Each screen or container of data display controls corresponds to a WDB extension file stored in a folder with the same name and WIN extension.

WIN folders are stored under a USR extension profile folder. In addition to the screen folders, the .USR folder also contains a PDBX extension profile configuration file. The set of windows and configuration file make up the profile. The profile name is the same as the USR folder name.

You can also place the screen folders in .SUS folder that are subfolders of the profile folder. In practice it is a tree structure in which it is possible to create subsets of the screens of the profile.

[PROFILE_NAME].USR level 0 – profile

-[SCREEN1_NAME].WIN level 1 – screen

-[SCREEN2_NAME].WIN level 1 – screen

…

-[GROUP1_NAME].SUS level 1 – group

–[SCREEN3_NAME.WIN] level 2 – screen

–[SCREEN4_NAME.WIN] level 2 – screen

…

–[GROUP2_NAME].SUS level 2 – group

—[SCREEN5_NAME.WIN] level 3 – screen

—[SCREEN6_NAME.WIN] level 3 – screen …

-[SCREEN10_NAME].WIN level 1 – screen …

-[GROUP3_NAME].SUS level 1 – group

–[SCREEN11_NAME].WIN level 2 – screen

–[SCREEN12_NAME].WIN level 2 – screen

…

Available containers are listed in the menu ‘Data displays’.

In addition to the WDB control screens there are also CDB calibration variable screens which are stored within the CWD folders. The management of these files in the profile folder tree is similar to that of WDB files.
